Palestine Monetary Authority denies the knowledge of an agreement regarding facilitating the transfer of Qatari Funds

On Thursday 5/8/2021, the Governor of Palestine Monetary Authority “PMA” denied the knowledge of the PMA and banks under its supervision of an agreement circulated by some media outlets regarding facilitating the transfer of Qatari funds to the Gaza Strip in order to pay salaries and dues to the de facto government in Gaza Strip.

The Governor added that the PMA and banks under its supervision are committed to apply the best international standards, especially those related to know-Your-Customer.
