Dr. Jihad Al Wazir- Governor of PMA, and Dr. Said Abu Ali-Minister of Interior; signed a memorandum of understanding for organizing the activities of the civil organizations and associations that are practicing lending works, and adjusting their activities according to the related rules and regulation.

La Paz, 03/04/2013 - the Bolivian president Evo Morales met with the  Palestine Monetary Authority Governor, Dr. Jihad Al-Wazir and the accompanying Palestinian delegation in the republican palace, La Paz. Dr. Al-Wazir handed an official letter and conveyed greetings from Mr. President Mahmoud Abbas to President Morales, who always expresses support to the Palestinian people's resistance.

The Spring Meetings of the IMF and World Bank were held in Washington DC on the 20th of April 2012 and continued until the 22nd of April 2012. H.E. Dr. Jihad Al Wazir has attended the meetings with thousands of government officials, private sector and civil society representatives, journalists and other interested observers.

Board of Governors of Central Banks and Arabic Monetary Agencies, elected Dr. Jihad Al Wazir, Governor of the Palestinian Monetary Authority, as its Chairman, in it's 34th ordinary meeting, which was held in the Libyan Republic. Sheikh Abdullah Bin Saud Al Thani ,Governor of Qatar Central Bank, was elected Vice-President.
