PMA published the second issue of the Quarterly Statistical Bulletin for 2013

The Research and Monetary Policies Department in the Palestine Monetary Authority (PMA) released the second issue of the Quarterly Statistical Bulletin, which covers the period from 2008 to the third quarter of 2013. The issuance of this bulletin comes as a part of a series of reports and periodicals issued by the PMA to provide information, and data for economists, researchers and others interested in the Palestinian economic and financial situation. Commenting on the release of this bulletin, Dr. Jihad Khalil al-Wazir, Governor of the PMA stated that: "This bulletin provides economists and businessmen, researchers, academics and journalists with accurate and up-to-date data and information on various economic indicators in order to portray the realities and challenges of the overall economic situation in Palestine”.

This bulletin included detailed statistical tables on various indicators of the Palestinian economic sectors including banking and financial markets, national accounts and prices, public finance, labor market and labor force, and the external sector. It is worth mentioning that the PMA relies in issuing this bulletin on preliminary sources of information such as the Central Bureau of Statistics, Ministry of Finance, Palestine Securities Exchange, and others. The data presented conforms with international standards and best practices, thus ensuring its integrity, accuracy and quality.
