The PMA Governor Receives the Dutch Ambassador to the State of Palestine

His Excellency the PMA Governor, Mr. Yahya Shunnar, today met with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the State of Palestine, Mr. Michel Rentenaar, and his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, the Governor reviewed the PMA’s efforts to enhance financial and banking stability, the measures taken to support the national economy in light of current challenges, and the PMA’s role in developing projects, promoting financial inclusion, and advancing electronic payment systems.

The Governor emphasized the deep bilateral relationship between Palestine and the Kingdom of the Netherlands, stressing the need to strengthen this partnership and exchange banking expertise and experiences, which would contribute to the development of the Palestinian financial and banking sector.

For his part, the Dutch Ambassador praised the development and stability of the Palestinian banking sector and the efforts of the PMA in achieving this. He expressed his country’s willingness to expand the scope of ongoing and mutual cooperation in various fields, including finance and banking.
