The PMA Governor Briefs the Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Qatar on Efforts to Address Current Challenges

– H.E. Mr. Yahya Shunnar, the PMA governor, received H.E. Mr. Fayez Abu Al Rab, Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the State of Qatar, at the PMA’s headquarters in Ramallah. Dr. Feras Murrar, Director of the Financial Follow-Up Unit also attended the meeting.

During the meeting, Governor Shunnar briefed the Ambassador on the latest financial and economic developments, as well as the intensive efforts being undertaken by the PMA—both locally and internationally—to address current challenges and ensure the continued stability and effective functioning of the banking sector.

Governor Shunnar affirmed the importance of coordination and integration among Palestinian state institutions in confronting economic and financial challenges, noting that such cooperation is essential to strengthening regional and international confidence in the Palestinian banking system.

For his part, Ambassador Abu Al Rab commended the national and professional role played by the PMA, stressing the importance of unifying efforts between financial and diplomatic institutions to confront ongoing challenges and reinforce the resilience of the Palestinian people and their institutions.
