Ramallah, March, 27th,2013, thousands of students, both children and youth, participated in the activities of the second banking week; which was organized by the PMA, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, the Association of Banks, the Palestinian Banking System and UNRWA. This was achieved through a series of mutual visits conducted by various student groups to bank branches on the one hand, as well as visits to various schools by a number of bank representatives, on the other.

In the presence of officials and the general public and in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, the Association of Banks in Palestine and UNRWA , The Palestine Monetary Authority (PMA) launched the second Child & Youth Banking Week on Saturday 16/3/2013 at Ramallah Cultural Palace in order to promote knowledge of banking and finance and expand its remit to the widest possible segments of society, as well providing an opportunity for increasing awareness on banking and finance and guiding students in making sound financial decisions in the future.

The PMA has organized a banking meeting that took place in Aldeira Hotel in Gaza City. The meeting was held in participation of Dr. Jihad Al Wazir - Governor of the PMA, directors of banks' branches operating in Gaza, as well as the PMA astaff. This event has been held in preparation for the launch of the Second Child and Youth Banking Week in West Bank and Gaza.
