Algeria Jan 27th- Dr. Mohamed Laksaci, Governor of Bank of Algeria and Dr. Jihad Al Wazir Governor of PMA have signed a memorandum of agreement aimed to strengthening the mutual relations and exchange of experiences in several fields of common interest.

Palestine Monetary Authority signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Al Wataniya Mobile Company, that allows Al Wataniya Mobile to benefit from the PMA's query system on bounced checks, with certain restrictions including strict confidentiality of data and information on the company and its customers in accordance with the provisions of the pertinent law and regulations.

Dr. Jihad Al Wazir Governor of the Palestine Monetary Authority and Mr. Angelo Bertini Managing Director, Middle East & North Africa BPC Banking Technologies (Global leader in electronic payment systems) signed an agreement for the implementation of the National Switch electronic payment system.

Dr. Jihad Al Wazir- Governor of PMA, and Dr. Said Abu Ali-Minister of Interior; signed a memorandum of understanding for organizing the activities of the civil organizations and associations that are practicing lending works, and adjusting their activities according to the related rules and regulation.

Under the patronage of Dr. Jihad Al-Wazir, Chairman of the National Anti-Money Laundering Committee, and upholding the principle of local cooperation and coordination to combat money laundering; five memorandums of understanding were signed by the Financial Follow-up Unit (FFU).
