PMA Organizes Lecture in Bait Al-Maqdes College for Technical Sciences in Gaza

In collaboration with Bait Al-Maqdes College for Technical Sciences in Gaza, and within the frame of spreading banking and financial awareness and knowledge among university and college students, the PMA organized a lecture to raise banking awareness among the college students to enable them to judiciously deal with banking and financial services and products. The event came within the frame of implementing the National Strategy for Financial Inclusion in Palestine. Chairman of the College, Mr. Husam Ahmad, welcomed the PMA, saying that the lecture marks a promising start of cooperation between the College and the PMA, which is intended play a part in furnishing students with banking knowledge, both theoretical and applied.

In turn, Mr, Hussein Zaqout, Customer Service Supervisor, delivered a lecture that elaborated the goals and duties of the PMA, the Palestinian banking system and the Palestinian financial sector. He introduced students to the most important banking services and products. Moreover, he alluded to the services offered by the Consumer Reception Hall, in particular in relation with the protection of cutomers using such services and products. At the end of the lecture, brochures and other awareness-raising publications were distributed to attendees and their questions taken. 

In turn, the Dean of the College, Mr. Khalil Halabi, expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the PMA for organizing such awareness-raising lectures and workshops to students of universities and colleges in Gaza.
