PMA Organizes an Exhibition to Support Local Products and Industry

Governor of the Palestine Monetary Authority (PMA), Dr. Jihad Al Wazir, opened today an exhibition to support local products and industry. The exhibition was organized by the PMA in cooperation with the Palestinian Federation of Industries (PFI) at PMA headquarters in Ramallah and Gaza, with the aim of fostering internal communication and social responsibility and supporting local products and industries.
Dr. Al Wazir stressed the importance of organizing similar exhibitions in order to showcase local products, introduce local industries to the public, provide information on product quality and support and encourage local manufacturers and companies to advance in the Palestinian market.
PMA employees visited the exhibition and were introduced to the products displayed including cleaning products, medicinal products, cosmetics, ready-made clothes, footwear, bags and sponge products. The visitors were impressed by the products and the quality standard achieved and enjoyed the chance of purchasing at affordable prices.
Chairman of the PFI, Mr. Bassam Al Walweel expressed his deep appreciation to the PMA for the interest it takes in supporting and encouraging Palestinian industries. The PFI is considered the national institution representing the various Palestinian industrial sectors through the membership of 16 federated associations.
It is worth mentioning that the PMA has diligently endeavored to acquaint its employees with the advancements and innovations of the Palestinian society through organizing exhibitions and other internal events which encompass Palestinian heritage, visual arts and exhibitions of projects and works by people with special needs.
