PMA Issues 2010 Final Reports

The Palestine Monetary Authority has issued a new series of its periodic reports, as part of its ongoing efforts to advance and promote the Palestinian Banking and Financial Sector, and to publish accurate and reliable data and information on the performance of the entities that are subject to its supervision, in addition to following up with the global and domestic economic development. The issues have included the below:

The PMA Annual Report 2010: is issued in a regular and incessant basis, which aims to follow up with the economic developments, both global and domestic, and to secure the reliable knowledge and information that is based on analysis and observing. This report also aims to highlight the PMA and its achievements.

Financial Stability Report 2010: This report is one of the most important reports in the new series of issues, which aims to improve awareness and understanding of the various topics and developments of the financial stability in Palestine, including identifying surrounding risks and the utilized tools in improving performance. It also aims to review the developments related to the banking and non-banking financial institutions' legislative environment, the Palestinian payment system and the regulatory initiatives that concern the enhancing of the financial stability in Palestine.

Inflation Report 2010: This report provides analysis of the inflationary pressures and other influential factors such as interest rates and money in the Palestinian Territories. It includes detailed analysis of the inflationary pressures, monetary developments and price exchange in the year of 2010, and it also includes a standard model for measuring inflation and its influential factors, in addition to 2011 inflation predictions.
