Dr. Jihad Al Wazir Governor of the Palestine Monetary Authority honored Mr. John Dabdoub, of The World Bank Group on Wednesday 03/10/2010, on the occasion of ending his term as Director General of the Bank.

Dr. Jihad Al Wazir presented a symbolic medal to Mr. Dabdoub, in recognition of his role in supporting the Palestinian economy and Palestine Monetary Authority. Dr Wazir thanked Mr. Dabdoub for his efforts to help the Palestine Monetary Authority particularly in shipping banknotes to Gaza Strip and other issues.

On this occasion, Mr. Dabdoub said that he was proud of the achievements of the Palestine Monetary Authority and the competence of its employees.

It is noteworthy that Mr. Dabdoub descends from Palestinian origins from the City of Bethlehem. He is a former Salvadorian Minister holding a PhD. degree in Industrial Engineering.
