H.E. Governor of PMA and H.E. Minister of Energy Authority Discuss Current State of Energy in Gaza
At PMA headquarters in Ramallah, H.E. Governor of the PMA received today H.E. Minister of the Palestinian Energy Authority, Dr. Omar Kittaneh, During the meeting, Dr. Kittaneh briefed the Governor on the state of affairs of energy supplies in the Gaza Strip and the rebuilding efforts which were made as per direction from H.E. the Prime Minister.
In turn, H.E. Governor Shawwa commended the Palestinian Energy Authority for the efforts it exerts to overcome the challenges and impediments that face it in the Gaza Strip. He discussed with Dr. Kittaneh the results of his visit to the Strip in the previous week, which included a visit of the economic delegation to the Gaza Electricity Distribution Company (GEDCO) in Gaza.
On a different note, H.E. Governor Shawwa discussed with H.E. Minister Kittaneh the possibility of collaboration in regard to the Annual Banking Conference, to take place in the third quarter of the current year, which will focus on the theme of renewable and environmentally friendly energy and green loans.
