Governor of Palestine Monetary Authority Honors Outgoing Egyptian Ambassador to Palestine Khaled Sami and Meets the New Ambassador



September 19, 2018 – His Excellency Mr. Azzam Shawwa, the Governor of Palestine Monetary Authority, met today at his office in Ramallah with the outgoing Egyptian Ambassador to Palestine Mr. Khaled Sami and the new Egyptian Ambassador Mustafa Shahat. Mr. Shawwa commended the efforts of Mr. Khaled Sami in supporting the Palestinian cause during his term in office in Palestine and his effective role to strengthen bilateral relations between Palestine and Egypt. Mr. Shawwa also praised the role of Egypt in supporting the Palestinian cause and protecting the national project. Mr. Shawwa presented Mr. Sami with a plaque in honor of his services.

Mr. Sami said he was proud of the work he had done during his term in office in Palestine and affirmed Egypt’s constant support to Palestine. Mr. Sami wished the Palestinian people all success in establishing the independent state and to live in peace, security, and progress.
Mr. Shawwa welcomed the new Egyptian Ambassador to Palestine Mr. Mustafa Shahat and wished him all success in his mission in Palestine and stressed the importance of more cooperation between Egypt and Palestine especially in banking and economic areas.
