The Governor of Palestine Monetary Authority, “Providing cash in the dinar and dollar currencies in Gaza Strip.”

The Governor of Palestine Monetary Authority |(PMA), Dr. Feras Milhem, stated that a total of 20 million Jordanian dinars and US$16 million had been channeled to Gaza Strip through the banking sector to meet the needs of the citizens for these currencies.

The Governor pointed out that this step came to maintain financial and monetary stability in Palestine, and within the framework of PMA's continuous monitoring of cash liquidity. Dr. Milhem stressed that PMA would monitor any additional needs of the citizens for those currencies during the holy month of Ramadan and future events.
