|Mrs. Samia Totah
Samia Totah obtained MBA in 2013 from Northwestern University, USA, after having the bachelor degree in 1987 from San Francisco University.
In 1988, she established and headed Bisan Company in Ramallah, the West Bank to serve the local Arab market by providing integrated solutions in the field of information systems and financial management for the various sectors including commercial, governmental, non-governmental ones, as well as microfinance institutions.
From 1988 to 1990, she worked as an accountant and administrative assistant at Techno Commerce in Ramallah industrial zone. Before having this position, she worked closely with the head of a marketing consultations and financial management company in San Francisco, California, and with the company's financial group for the period (1987-1988). She also worked as office manager and administrative assistant at a software company in San Purno, California for the period (1985-1987).
She is a community activist. She is a founder and member of the Board of Directors of the Businesswomen Forum in Palestine (2006-2008), a non-profit organization aiming at developing and enhancing the role of Palestinian businesswomen in Palestine and abroad. Since 2003, she has been a member of EMPRETEC Project, Palestine.
She was member or still member of several professional and community organizations, including Sareyyet Ramallah – First Group (founded in Ramallah in 1930). In 2006, she organized the first walking race in Ramallah, where more than 150 people participated. She organized voluntary activities in the fields of health, femininity and youth. She is fluent in English and Arabic, with excellent administrative skills and excellent interpersonal skills
