The Governor of Palestine Monetary Authority meets with the Egyptian Ambassador to the State of Palestine

Dr. Feras Milhem, the Governor of Palestine Monetary Authority (PMA) met today in Ramallah Mr. Ihab Suleiman, the Egyptian Ambassador to the State of Palestine, in the presence of Mr. Mohammad Manasra, the Deputy Governor.

The Governor briefed the Ambassador during the meeting on the latest developments in the Palestinian banking sector, the efforts undertook by the PMA to maintain its stability and development as well as developing its business. He also talked about the strategic plans that are being developed to enhance the necessary infrastructure in the digital transformation process within the work of the banking sector, pointing out the role of financial technology in turning the wheel of the Palestinian economy and promoting the sustainable development.

The Governor congratulated Mr. Suleiman on his assumption of the position of Ambassador of the Republic of Egypt to the State of Palestine, stressing the depth of the historically strong relationship between the two peoples.
