Palestine Monetary Authority Appeals to Citizens to Take Care When Carrying out any Financial Transactions with Unknown Parties

Ramallah – Palestine Monetary Authority appeals to the public to take care regarding the execution of any financial transactions with unknown parties since there have been reports of a number of citizens being subjected to fraud by receiving messages or contacts from people living outside the State of Palestine urging them to send them quick remittances in order to speed up and facilitate the sending of prizes and donations to them under the names of winning money or luxury cars through certain programs or the use of names of Arab princes and wealthy people to receive donations and other false promises. Palestine Monetary Authority calls on citizens not to engage in this type of criminal tactic, in order to protect citizens from being subjected to fraud or deception and to maintain financial stability.
