In the Presence of His Excellency the Governor, Cairo Amman Bank Donates One Million Shekels to Wakfet Izz Fund for Affected Families
April 20, 2020 - In the presence of His Excellency the Governor, Mr. Azzam Shawwa, Cairo Amman Bank, represented by its Regional Director in Palestine, Mr. Joseph Nesnas, donated one million shekels to Wakfet Izz Fund, represented by its Chairman, Mr. Talal Nasser al-Deen, for the benefit of families affected by the Coronavirus crisis.
His Excellency the Governor praised the donation made by Cairo Amman Bank, noting that the Palestinian banking system has once again proved that it stood in the first line of defense for the Palestinians and the local economy.
Mr. Shawwa praised the support that the Palestinian banking sector continued to provide, and its social responsibility and the additional burdens resulting from the current health crisis and did not hesitate for a moment to provide everything it could in times of crisis from a national and humanitarian perspective.
